I have added several new ceramic pieces and included an older piece I had completely forgotten about. As it turned out, none of my entries were selected for the outdoor juried show I was hoping for. Recently, it’s all about ceramics for me. I have completed over 25 new pieces with many more to come. The Corona Virus is giving me great reason to stay close to the studio.

I have added a few new pieces to the portfolio. Three of them are maquettes for larger pieces. One is a bust of the Apostle Paul. I have submitted 5 designs for an upcoming outdoor sculpture show. I’ll hear in January if any of the designs are accepted. I may be building a new large piece as a result. New work is a combination of realistic figurative pieces and abstract welded pieces. I’m not concentrating on the the mixed media aspects of things as much. Look for some new ceramic pieces as well.

The newest pieces are up on the site.  I am continuing to do more welding and am mixing in wood working and ceramics into the abstract pieces.  If you like the work, keep in mind that I am available to do commission work specifically for you.

Hello Again,

It’s been a while since I last updated the blog.  I’ve just put up a lot of new pieces.  There are quite a few new ceramic pieces along with 3 new sculptures.  I have also included a couple of older wood sculptures because they have recently received a lot of attention.  After a 35 year absence from welding I am back up to my eyeballs in it.  It took a while to refamiliarize myself with the various processes but I am now back to where I was and probably even better at it due to newer equipment and techniques.  Stay tuned as I plan to add a pricing page in the near future.

Welcome to my new website.  It’s now May and we are having a beautiful spring in New England.  I have recently rearranged my studio to accomodate welding equipment.  I am just starting back into welded sculpture after leaving that behind 35 years ago.  The equipment has changed and I am getting my skills back.  I will be shooting to complete a welded piece by the end of the summer.  Stay tuned.
