Opposites Attract……2014

This piece combines welded steel with wheel thrown ceramics.  The idea of the piece was to combine materials that are rarely if ever seen together.  The welds are actually filled with bronze metal to create more contrast.  This piece along with the two Planar Expression pieces represent the first welded pieces I have done in over thirty years.  Opposites attract is about 15″ tall.
